Recognising performance is a key part
of how we promote 29Metals’ Values
and a positive workplace culture.
Recognising and promo琀椀ng performance starts with our
performance planning and review processes. Performance
planning, includes personal and professional development plans,
and team priori琀椀es for the year, which are developed by our
team members in consulta琀椀on with their leaders. All employees
par琀椀cipate in bi-annual performance reviews with their leaders.
We also employ other means to recognise the performance of
our team, including recognising behaviours and performance
that personify our Values.
During the Repor琀椀ng Period, we conducted our third annual
workforce engagement survey. The survey was conducted by
a third party, and that third party also processed and analysed
the results. Gaps and opportuni琀椀es were iden琀椀昀椀ed based on
the survey results with priority ac琀椀on plans being developed for
implementa琀椀on across the Group.
During the Repor琀椀ng Period we con琀椀nued our focus on
improving gender diversity and we are star琀椀ng to see results.
In 2023, the propor琀椀on of female employees at 29Metals was
approximately 16%, marking a slight increase of 1% compared
to 2022. This 昀椀gure aligns with the industry comparison group19
range of 16%. However, it is pleasing to note that the ra琀椀o of
females represented in 29Metals Board and management 20
reached 26%, a slight increase from 2022 and a result that
compares favourably to industry benchmarks21.
