Fiona has more than 40 years’
experience as a 昀椀nance execu琀椀ve and
non-execu琀椀ve director, most of this
spent within the resources sector.
Fiona’s senior and execu琀椀ve 昀椀nance
roles included serving as CFO of
ASX-listed companies Petsec Energy
Limited, Climax Mining Limited and
Delta Gold Limited.
Fiona’s earlier career included credit risk
management, corporate banking and
resource 昀椀nancing roles with Chase
AMP and Chase Manha琀琀an Bank in
Australia, New York and London.
Fiona is currently an independent
non-execu琀椀ve director of ASX-listed
Bellevue Gold Limited (ASX: BGL) and
Whitehaven Coal Limited (ASX: WHC),
where Fiona also chairs the audit &
risk commi琀琀ee for both companies.
Fiona also serves as a member of
Whitehaven Coal’s governance
& nomina琀椀on and remunera琀椀on
commi琀琀ees, and previously served
on its health, safety, environment
and community commi琀琀ee.
Fiona serves on the nomina琀椀on
and remunera琀椀on commi琀琀ee and
health, safety & sustainability
commi琀琀ee for Bellevue Gold.
Fiona was previously an independent
non-execu琀椀ve director of ASX-listed
Drillsearch Energy Limited (ASX: DLS)
and ASX-listed Heron Resources
Limited (ASX: HRR), where Fiona
also held roles on board commi琀琀ees
focussed on audit, risk, ESG, people,
remunera琀椀on and nomina琀椀on ma琀琀ers.
Fiona’s successful career in the mining
industry, and contribu琀椀on to the
empowerment and encouragement of
women developing careers within the
mining industry was recognised in 2022
when Fiona received the NSW Mining
Industry and Suppliers “Outstanding
Contribu琀椀on in Mining” award. In 2020
Fiona was named as one of “100 Global
Inspira琀椀onal Women in Mining” by
Women in Mining UK.
Fiona was included in the 2023
Kings Birthday honours list
recognising her signi昀椀cant service
to the mining sector.
Fiona was appointed as a Director
on 27 May 2021.
Jacqui has more than 30 years’
experience in the mining sector,
including in execu琀椀ve and
senior leadership roles spanning
opera琀椀ons, business development,
technology and project management
across copper, iron ore and energy,
where Jacqui developed extensive
experience in managing 昀椀nancial
performance, risk management and
sustainability.

across mul琀椀ple mineral commodi琀椀es
and assets in Australia, Asia,
Africa, Europe and the Americas.
Owen co-founded and is
Execu琀椀ve Chairman of EMR
Capital, a specialist resources
private equity manager with
deep opera琀椀onal, investment,
sustainability and ESG management
exper琀椀se applied across the EMR
investment por琀昀olio companies.
Owen was formerly the Managing
Director and Chief Execu琀椀ve
O昀케cer of ASX-listed Oxiana
Limited, leading the company to
its merger with Zinifex Limited in
2008 to form OZ Minerals Limited
(formerly ASX: OZL).
Prior to Oxiana, Owen’s career
included 25 years with the Rio Tinto
Group, including as Managing
Director of Rio Tinto Asia and
Rio Tinto’s Australian copper
and gold business.
Owen currently serves as a
director on a number of EMR
Capital por琀昀olio companies.
Owen’s previous non-execu琀椀ve
directorship roles include ASX listed
Fortescue Metals Group Limited
(ASX: FMG) and High昀椀eld Resources
Limited (ASX: HFR), Tigers Realm
Coal Limited (ASX: TIG) and Hong
Kong listed G-Resources Limited
and CST Mining.
Peter is an experienced mining
execu琀椀ve, with more than 35 years’
experience in the mining industry
across mul琀椀ple commodi琀椀es and
spanning Australia, Asia, Africa
and Europe. Peter’s experience
includes more than 25 years in
CEO and execu琀椀ve roles for listed
mining companies in Australia and
Asia with signi昀椀cant experience in
project management, development
and opera琀椀on of large-scale
underground and open pit
mining opera琀椀ons, sustainability
and ESG performance, and
corporate strategy.
Prior to his appointment as

CEO, Peter joined EMR Capital
as the CEO of EMR Capital’s
copper por琀昀olio in prepara琀椀on
for 29Metals’ ini琀椀al public o昀昀ering
and ASX-lis琀椀ng in 2021.
Peter’s earlier execu琀椀ve career
included roles as CEO of ASX-listed
High昀椀eld Resources Limited
(ASX: HFR), Jinchuan Interna琀椀onal
and G-Resources Limited, and
Execu琀椀ve General Manager –
Asia for ASX-listed Oxiana Limited
(later, OZ Minerals Limited). Peter
also held previous roles with Fluor
Australia, Shell-Billiton Australia,
Davy John Brown and Johannesburg
Consolidated Investments.
Owen has served and con琀椀nues to
serve on a number of government
and industry mining advisory bodies
and is the recipient of a number of
awards and cita琀椀ons in recogni琀椀on
of his achievements and service to
the mining industry.
Peter was appointed as a Director
on 27 May 2021 and commenced
his role as Managing Director & CEO
with e昀昀ect on and from 2 July 2021.
Owen was included in the 2021
Queen’s Birthday honours list, being
awarded the Medal of the Order of
Australia recognising his services
to the minerals and mining sector.

At New Hope Corpora琀椀on, Jacqui is

and serves as a member of the

At Gold昀椀elds, Jacqui is chair of the
social, ethics and transforma琀椀on
commi琀琀ee and serves as a member
of a number of the board’s other
standing commi琀琀ees.
Jacqui is also a non-execu琀椀ve
director of the Royal Automobile
Associa琀椀on of South Australia and
the Adelaide Fes琀椀val Centre.
