29Metals 2023 Annual Report
Our people
2023 was a year that tested our people and highlighted
the strength and resilience of our workforce.
We are incredibly proud of the manner
in which our people pulled together
during the year to respond to opera琀椀onal
challenges which arose at both Golden
Grove and Capricorn Copper, not
least the Extreme Weather Event
at Capricorn Copper1.
Our workforce‑led working group,
InDiVisible, con琀椀nued its work during
the year, as an important forum for
members of our team to iden琀椀fy and
discuss barriers to promo琀椀ng an inclusive
workplace and a diverse workforce.
Our people demonstrated 29Metals’
commitment to a safe and inclusive

managing cri琀椀cal risks;
signi昀椀cant safety improvement over

Ins琀椀tute across the business.
Our 29Metals’ TEAMS Awards program
con琀椀nued in 2023, recognising individuals
and teams that epitomised our Values in
their day‑to‑day work.
During the year, we also completed our
third annual workforce engagement
survey. The voluntary survey saw an
increase in par琀椀cipa琀椀on by our employees
and, in 2023, included contractor
personnel working at our sites. Overall,
the survey par琀椀cipa琀椀on rate and results
indicated that 29Metals has a workforce
commi琀琀ed to improving produc琀椀vity.
Our focus during 2024 includes ac琀椀vi琀椀es
to help strengthen and grow the 29Metals
business, with a speci昀椀c focus on people
development, a琀琀rac琀椀on and reten琀椀on.
